Advertising Tables and/or Flyer Insertion
Table Rental and Flyer Distribution at LDStorymaker Writers Conference
Display tables are available for rental during the 2010 LDStorymakers Writing Conference. This is a great way to draw the attention of the 300+ published and up-and-coming LDS writers who will be in attendance.
A separate opportunity is available to include flyers in the bags distributed to each conference member.
The parameters of display tables are as follows:
* Display Only. Friday April 23, 2010. Posters, fliers and brochures allowed. Display continues through Saturday April 24, 2010.
* Display/Sales Personnel. Sales Personnel allowed ONLY on Saturday April 24 from 2 PM - 6 PM. Personnel must remain at table and contact only those who approach.
* For your convenience, you may arrive for set-up any time prior to 9 AM, Friday April 23, 2010 or prior to 8 AM, Saturday April 24 2010. Set up must be completed by 10 AM Friday and/or 9 AM Saturday. Take down of display required by 9 pm Saturday evening (following Whitney Award Gala).
* Table and tablecloth provided by LDStorymakers. All other accessories provided by the advertising group. No advertising may be attached to the walls. Displays can include table-top easels and/or no more than ONE floor easel adjacent to the table. Please let us know in advance if you require electric power for your display. Displays may not play music (or any audio) that is audible to passersby, but may use headphones. No liquids, flame, or food.
* Displays are provided on a provisional basis. If you are interested in participating, please keep conference attendees in mind. We are excited to offer you this opportunity, but must ask that you do your best to support the learning environment we provide to our conference goers and that you not disrupt conference proceedings.
* The cost of a 1.5’ x 6’ table is $50 and a 3.0’ x 6.0’ table is $75. This fee will give you access to your designated table area for setup, but does not include attendance to the conference workshops. Displays are available only to groups, companies, and events—not individual authors wanting to advertise books.

* You may choose to have a flyer distributed by LDStorymakers as part of the registration materials whether or not you rent a display table.
* Companies must provide the printed flyers at least a week prior to the conference or in person at the hotel on Thursday evening by 6:00.
* Flyers must advertise a service or product or event that is valuable for our attendees. This could include restaurant coupons, office supplies advertisements, computer services, editing services, meditating techniques, advertising avenues, publishers searching for authors, or anything else that writers might be interested in. Vanity publishing services, submission services, or similar representations will not be accepted. Flyers may be either single- or double-sided, color or black and white, but no larger than 8½ x 11.
* Flyer distribution is available only to groups, companies, and events—not individual authors seeking to publicize their books.
* A fee of $25 will be assessed for every flyer, which will be given to all attendees.
